We are adapting to the new work-from-home economy which is now underway – and what had been predicted. Remote work suites some, but not most. New hires, junior employees, newcomers, parents and those just staring out in their chosen field are strugglng to find their way in this remote experience.

We think that all of the unskilled and most of the skilled workforce want a balance that offers flexibility of work for both in-office and remote work, and they want to create social connections needed for their career advancement. It’s about the employee and not the company, but the autonomy, trust and work-life balance are critical ingredients to building successful teams.

Companies that recognize that their people are their most important asset will offer flexibility to new hires. They can further reduce their costs by offering regular micro jobs which provide flexibility and stability to their future work force. This will afford a feasable way to scale their work force without the ususal employee costs and commitments.
